Equipment | Vacuum vessel with ionized plasma, magnetic field coils and microwave receiver and transmitter |
Experiment | Changing polarisation, magnetic field strength and plasma density and observe the change in wave propagation. Relate this to the Appleton Hartree dispersion relation |
Fusion Relevance | Wave propagation is basic for wave heating, wave access and wave diagnostics: ICRH, ECRH, ECE, Reflectrometry etc |
